Public Works Department (P.W.D.) – Municipal Corporation Rishikesh
The Construction Department of Rishikesh Municipal Corporation is responsible for the repair and reconstruction of roads, drains, and other types of infrastructure development within all wards under the municipal limits.

Currently, there are a total of 40 wards in the corporation. To ensure focused development, these wards have been divided into two parts, with 20 wards in each. Each part is managed by an Executive Engineer and an Assistant Engineer, under whom one Junior Engineer and two Work Supervisors are appointed.
