Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana
The Hon’ble Prime Minister launched the Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, under which around 5 lakh families in our state receive free medical treatment up to ₹5 lakh annually for serious illnesses.

Building on this initiative, the Government of Uttarakhand launched the Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana, expanding this benefit to an additional 18 lakh families, providing them with free medical care up to ₹5 lakh per year.

Thus, all 23 lakh families in Uttarakhand now have access to free treatment for both general and serious health conditions.

To help those who were unable to get their Ayushman Golden Card, the Municipal Corporation organized a special drive.

A camp for issuing Ayushman Golden Cards was held in the premises of the Municipal Corporation from 7th January to 29th February.

Special attention was given to:

• Individuals without a ration card
• Elderly people who were facing difficulties with fingerprint scanning

Under the Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana, Golden Cards were successfully issued to such individuals.

A total of 2,592 people got their Ayushman Golden Cards during this camp.
